Omitoyinbo Eniola, a 24-year-old B.Sc. holder, joined WAVE after a friend sent her a link to the online training program. At the time, Eniola was in Lagos, actively job hunting after completing her first degree. "I just wanted a job so badly," she said, hoping that WAVE would provide her with the skills and opportunities needed to start her career.

The training experience for Eniola was unique as she participated in the program online. "There were no major challenges because I had my training online, so it made things easier." The only challenge she faced was occasional data issues, but overall, the flexibility of the online training allowed her to navigate smoothly.

After completing the program, Eniola's dedication paid off, and she secured a role as a Relationship Officer at United Bank for Africa.

The communication and marketing skills she gained from WAVE have become invaluable in her day-to-day responsibilities. "I apply these skills every day on the job, and they are really helping me."

Looking back on her journey, Eniola offers advice to fellow job seekers: "Define your goals, network, and make connections. Attend industry events, join professional groups, and connect with people on LinkedIn. Be proactive and take care of yourself. Job hunting can be stressful, so ensure you're getting enough sleep, exercise, and taking breaks when needed.

Remember, finding a job can take time, but with persistence, preparation, and a positive attitude, you will increase your chances of success!"

Her story is inspiring. I feel motivated. She is a young girl who at a tender age knows what she wants and she is working towards becoming her dreams.

I really love the transformation that Wave is causing in the lives of the young people. Mary's experience just stands out. She is more equipped to live. This and more is what young girls especially need to compete favorably in Nigeria. Apart from the people that are in Lagos state, how can youths from other states participate in this training? How much does the training cost? Before I go, I really appreciate the leadership of West African Vocational Education. God richly bless you. Thank.
