As part of the training, participants engaged in a civic project aimed at addressing social issues and applying their newfound knowledge. The groups were involved in different projects within the Yaba and Surulere communities. The first group conducted a school sensitization program on the consequences of drug and substance abuse among Nigerian youth at Ijeshatedo Senior Grammar School in Aguda, Surulere. The second group organized an environmental sanitation initiative on Tejuosho Avenue in Yaba. Lastly, the third group conducted a sensitization program on the issue of school dropout as a social problem at Eletu Odibo Senior Grammar School in Abule Oja, Yaba.

They are now more inclined to identify ways to enhance their surroundings, knowing that they have the ability to take action and bring about positive change.

Her story is inspiring. I feel motivated. She is a young girl who at a tender age knows what she wants and she is working towards becoming her dreams.

I really love the transformation that Wave is causing in the lives of the young people. Mary's experience just stands out. She is more equipped to live. This and more is what young girls especially need to compete favorably in Nigeria. Apart from the people that are in Lagos state, how can youths from other states participate in this training? How much does the training cost? Before I go, I really appreciate the leadership of West African Vocational Education. God richly bless you. Thank.
